We spent a couple of weeks in Roatan and stayed at the Seagrape for a week. We did tons of diving a had an amazing time (although we dove with other companies other than seagrape most of the time). The Seagrape was an ok place to stay and the staff were friendly, but overall it was expensive for what you... more

This is a small, local resort. Rooms are clean, Mariela and all the other women working the front office are very friendly and accommodating for anything you need. They have high speed internet on-site for an affordable price so no waiting at an internet cafe in town. Make sure to get a bungalow room to enjoy the sea view and... more

My boyfriend and I loved Seagrape. This was our first trip to Honduras and I wanted to learn how to dive. The dive shop at Seagrape was excellent; I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our bungalow was cute and relaxing, had a great AC unit, small fridge, and gorgeous view. I loved the pool- its small but feels... more

For our honeymoon getaway, Seagrape Plantation was perfect. We liked our little bungalow with its hammock and sea view. I never realized how much I would appreciate a room with air-conditioning, either. As a note, the hot water supply was pretty short-lived for showers, but we happily lived without it. (Cool showers were very refreshing.) The only thing that bothered... more

If you are looking for tranquility and relaxation, Seagrapes is a wonderful place to stay. They are duplex/bungalow type rooms with hammocks on each porch and small pool. There is no beach, it is a rocky coral shoreline, but it is surreal to watch the waves crashing (be careful not to get too close, a friend of mine was lifted... more

We could not stay at the hotel we originally booked at, so we took time and looked around for a place to spend the week. Seagrape was the best choice by far. The room was large and very clean. Buildings and grounds were very well maintained. Staff were great, and provided us with some dishes so we could eat some... more

What a great place. Just a few minutes walk to the West End with all of the restaurants and bars and fun and noise when that's what you want, but at Seagrape all is quiet and relaxing and calm. Cabins have a super comfy bed, A/C if you want it, desk and chair and a nice bathroom with a big... more

We visited the Seagrape on Jan 03, 2009 for our second visit in about 6 months. Our last trip was in July of 2008. This time we stayed a week and did 2 dives every day. My first review goes into great detail so I will only point out some notes on a few things here. HOTEL: 1. Same great... more

My fiancee and I just returned from a wonderful week relaxing and diving at the Seagrape Plantation in Roatan. We are very happy that we chose this superb hotel/dive shop! If you are looking for friendly service, accomodations that focus on enjoying the natural beauty and water rather than frills, and a superb dive operation, then this is the place... more

I'm giving Seagrape high reviews because it's such an excellent value and the staff are so helpful. Keep in mind that this is not the Ritz; it's adequate rather than fancy. The cottages near the water show some age, but they keep them spotless. The pool is clean and refreshing when it gets hot. The only window that opened in... more
