This is a stunning heritage property. That doesn't mean five-star but it more than has the comforts and luxuries of home. We had an enormous double room- with charming furnishings and an excellent modern bathroom with the most brilliant shower pressure! The attention to detail is amazing. They have a beautiful swimming pool and the most spectacular open-air courtyard where... More

Laxmi Niwas Palace is not up to much really, though it looks wonderful in photographs. The new building is an example of what you might expect to find in Delhi Disneyworld. It has are all the architectural features of Rajasthani palaces in pastel kitsch, an approximation of the old palace next door. We were booked in a suite and shown... More

A perfect location with a special charm and outstanding service. Not the luxury of a 5 starhotel but so much more of indian genuin life and hospitality. The chef is doing an outstanding job as well as the tandooreman preparing all kind of BBQ snacks at poolside.... This time the visit to the park was better than the last 10... More

We were looking for a weekend getaway close to the NCR since I am based out of Gurgaon. Laxmi Niwas is an incredible property..very well maintained..it takes you back to the Royal era.. well trained staff and exceptionally nice rooms...we had a private terrace to ourselves..and the bird sanctuary was a treat for the little one..would higly recommend it for... Laxmi Niwas Palace is a quaint place from an earlier era, a well-preserved traditional-style house with inner courtyards. A padlock and sliding bolt locked the double wooden doors opening into my room. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed reasonably comfortable. The restaurant served an uninspired chicken dish for dinner, but the "American breakfast" was very good, with a... More

Lovely to be away from plastic 5star hotels and feel a real personal touch to everything from garden, buildings, staff and food as well as puppetshow, massagecenter and perfect help to understand what the best to do in this part of the country can be for a few days relax away from Delhi and other big cities and touristspots.

We got the one with a big bathroom with a shower cubicle inside it. So do check few rooms before moving to one. Also the AC of our... More

We stayed there for a night in december, was difficult to find as we arrived in the night. The rooms are furnished with antiques, clean, hot water available all the time. Beds mattresses not very comfortable. Don't expect central heating, there was a warm air blower in the room. Very nice dinner buffet in a well heated and restored dining... More

One only comes to know the value of a place when faced with adversity. Last night my daughter fell ill. At 0130 the hotel staff helped us with guidance and the personal indulgence of the owner to get us to the right hospital alongwith a guide. My daughter is fine now thanks to them. The hotel is a heritage building.... More

Laxmi Niwas Palace, Bhartpur (Oct – Nov 11) I happened to stay in the Heritage building (Main). I got it booked through my branch office and the tarrif was around 4K/day. They had provided complementary buffet breakfast and buffet dinner as per the package. In case you don’t have sufficient occupancy, be prepared for A la carte. Puppet shows, traditional... More
