The Carlton has the benefit of being on the most prime location-near the lake. The service is quite mediocre. On cold evenings it's great to sit by the fireside sipping your drink. But I would definitely eat elsewhere. The dinner buffet is terrible. Every time.

we were a group of around 50 ppl. excellent property, good view from rooms Direct access to lake. plenty of activities. package rates very attractive. we played cricket in their lawn, spend most of the time in their garden. and surfed almost every possible corner of carlton.

Stayed 2 nights in March 2013- awesome location with great lake view. Very courteous and helpful staff. Specially loved their dinner buffet which had great variety for vegetarian guests. Tariff on the higher side, but still worth it.....
