On reaching the hotel, we were greeted by courteous and smiling front office staff. They gave us a quick overview of the layout and the various amenities of the hotel. In-house staff were very helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

Hotel Samudra is beautifully located in Kovalam Bay, stunning views and comfortable gardens. I stayed here with my family in March 2013. This is a great place to stay with an almost private beach. Swimming pool was good too. Location and landscape was amazing. Will come back to this hotel again

This hotel has a prime location overlooking the beach. The grounds are lovely - grassy, coconut trees with chipmunks playing and hammocks strung in the shade. There is a good pool. The approach migfht look a bit crowded but once you reach the Hotel, you will feel the large space and freash air. The best place is the rooof lawn. But for those with joint problems make sure you are dropped at the lounge just below the lawn so you can take a ride in the lift to the lawn(one floor.)... More
