Don't go there if you expect a beach resort. It's a small hotel with a pool. Beach is nearby, but dirty and really a working beach with fishermen boats all around. Dirty as well. Great stay! Professional staff, clean room and good facilities including clean swimming pool. Direct access to sea with shore temple in sight. Also restaurant not bad. Our experience was great compared with the other resort in Mahaballipuram, namely Greenwoods beach resort in which we slept one night. more

The choice of hotels in M'puram is not great and its orientated towards a backpackers. The Sea Breeze is probably the nicest place in town at the moment. Big, clean rooms with TV and fridge. The pool is ok if you do not mind swimming in the company of fully-clothed Indian families. In retrospective we should have spent a bit more and should have stayed out of town in one of the resorts. Also, 3 days is far too much time to spend here. We would not return. more
