Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Very good food. Very reasonable. Highly recommend the Thai red curry or the local forest Curry. If you dont like spicy food be sure and say it when ordering. Fruit juices are beautiful. Staff very friendly also.

Popped in here for breakfast and a coffee. No problems. The servers were friendly, the food came out quickly (I was the only customer in the restaurant). Food was nice, I got more than I expected. I ordered an English set (an English breakfast) and a great plate full of delicious fruit and a glass of fresh orange juice came out before the breakfast came out. I ordered a bottle of water in the beginning not aware that fresh orange juice was included so the whole meal came to ฿215 (£5.25); great value. Would come again.

We just pop in to leave our luggage while visiting the city. We haven't actually stayed as guests. The staff is nice and helpful I'm really thankful for the service provided. They made our day. We rent their bike and at the end of the day they allowed us to take a shower for 50baht They also serve food and the outside area is really nice.

Located across the rd from Tonys bar, amongst a few other bars and restaurants. The food was good, though took quite a while as only 1 person working bar and waiting. We sat out the front next to some plants, lots of mosquitoes biting out legs n feet.

I am on a tour and we stopped here to stow our packs and take off on tours, After, I ate and drank here. Good prices, nice facility, great people. I had been to Ayutthaya previously, but took the boat tour from here and saw 3 different temples. Perfect in comparison to riding bikes in the heat.

Good Luck Guesthouse is conveniently located on the backpackers strip. We didn't have a prior booking, but easily found this guesthouse by walking down the main strip. My husband & I were able to book a private room with a fan for 2 nights for the price of one night at a other places with similar accomodations, making it very budget friendly, but not "cheap feeling". The room didn't have exteriors windows, but the building is open enough to still get a breeze. During the day, it gets quite warm with just the fan, but at night it was perfect conditions to sleep. The room and bathrooms were clean. Hot showers, firm beds, spacious room with desk, friendly hosts. The attached restaurant has good food, but has the prices expected in the backpacker strip. The only slight negative we had were how extremely paper thin the walls were. Next door bars can be heard easily and neighbors walking down the hall can be heard like elephants. But really only momentary inconviences as the place is a lovely stay overall.

We stayed there for three nights in the family room. The price was reasonable for a big room with aircon and private bathroom. There were much cheaper options with fan and shared bathroom. The staff was friendly.

We stayed here beginning of Nov for couple of nights and it was an ok guesthouse. It was right on the strip of guesthouses where travellers stay so few restaurants and cafes to eat at right on your doorstep. Good Luck did breakfast so we just ate here every morning. The bus station is just at the end of the road and so are a few shops and a 7 eleven. You can rent out bikes from the guesthouse and have a ride around the town, through the park and round the ruins. Need to be a little bit careful with walking around at night because the dogs can be an annoyance. The room we stayed in was a double room and it was clean but very dated. Very dark colours as well and didn't help with the dark wood. Because they have wet room style bathrooms once you have had a shower your feet are then in a pool of water when you want to go to the toilet. Air-con worked fine, wifi was ok but not great, staff were friendly. They did laundry service there and offered bus services to other destinations which was handy. For a couple of nights this was good enough for the money we paid. Not sure if we would stay there again though if we ever went back to Ayuthaya.
