We stayed at the Nature Resort over New Years in 08/09. We found the resort to be very hit and miss - our friends found the staff quite rude, but they were always nice to us.

The resort itself is strange. Across the road and over a small creek are the non-AC bungalows that we *should* have stayed at for the entire tme. They were only 300 BHT/night with an attached bathroom and small veranda. The walls are paper thin, but you are far enough from the road and beach that it doesn't really matter. We stayed at the bunglaows for one night, then moved to an 850 bht/night room.

The more expensive rooms....well, the first one they showed us stank horribly of mould and was quite unimpressive for the money. They bumped us to a nicer room, but since we didn't want to pay 1500 BHT, they took the AC controller away. It wasn't bad, but not a great value for the money.
