Unfortunately we cannot relate to the good reviews of this place. My partner and I travelled through southern thailand with our two young sons in2007, and this was the worst place we stayed. We had booked and paid for our accomodation through an online service, for 2 adults and two children, only to find a padlock on the sofa bed... more

We stayed at the holiday villa for 7 nights, we got a transfer from Phuket by car which did take a very long time and if we go again we will go by boat. Just read Mike's review and all I can think is that he can't have left the hotel and seen what else was on the beach, or ever been to another hotel . Just stayed at Holiday Villa for the last 10 days, and I'm sure when it 1st opened it was okay, but is now quite tatty around the edges.... more
