As a single person travelling alone I was apprehensive about this resort at first as I thought that it would only be a place for couples and honeymooners. Although this statement is pretty true the location itself has loads to offer for anyone looking at escaping the hussle and bussle of Had Riin where the full moon party is, whilst... more

The property itself is amazing. Great food, specially the breakfast buffet. The rooms were nice, but the lizards bothered too much at night making wierd noises not easy to access other areas of the isalnd, but the propertly itself is so huge, good restaurants, great pool scene as well more

We stayed at this resort for 3 nights and thought it was the best holiday we have ever had. It is difficult to get to the Panviman resort......once we arrived at Samui airport we were basically told we must get a speedboat to the island which was very expensive and that it was leaving immediately. So we just went ahead... more

Spent 5 nites and had a fantastic time. Nice friendly staff, good breakfast included and free internet. The superior rooms are superb (ask for sea view)and enjoy the view and nature from the big balconies. Make sure the mosquito coil is on at all times as the resort is up on a hill. The beach is superb and nice little setting... more

After enduring one painful and bumpy ride to the hotel (after a terrible ferry ride over here with a toddler) we had booked a superior cottage for 3 nights. Food at the stone restuarant was ok that night (a bit blowy and cold however). That night we had entertainment on but we have a toddler so stayed with him in... more

I was a bit nervous going to Panviman because I had read some bad reviews with people getting food sickness and complaining about the staff. Fortunately we did not have any of these problems. We stayed in a Family cottage over the new year and I thought it was a great location. The beach is paradise, I know it doesnt... more

Whoever reviewed this less than 4 star overall must have been born with a silver spoon in their mouth. My girlfriend and I visited here after spending 4 nights in Haad Rin further South for the Full Moon Party. It was the perfect place to get away from everything and enjoy the ultimate chillout! Stayed in Spa Villa for first... more

Visited this hotel (not the vilas) the first week of October. Apperently, it is the start of one of the rain seasons in this area, but we had only one day of rain. Rest sunny. Maybe this explains why it was not full, guess 30% of the rooms were occupied. Total relaxation. Extremely friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. Not many... more

I was getting very concerned with the reviews I read prior to our holiday but we had a fantastic time. The resort is quite unique and would not be everyone's taste. Because it is on the side of a steep hill it would be quite challenging for some people to manage to get around, however there are golf buggies which... more

We booked this resort because we wanted to come to Koh Phangan for a full moon party - but didn't want to stay in town with all the noise. Panviman had a great breakfast with amazing views from the resturant. The pool was relaxing and staff were friendly. Strangely in each room the bathroom had a large glass window that... more
