We stayed 5 nights at My Phangan Resort from 29th Dec-3rd Jan. Our 1st time in Thailand and our 1st stop. We basically had a shed with a bed, small double and a mosquito net with holes in it! But we absolutly adored it! We were literally 5 steps from the water, hardly saw anybody on our bit of beach... more
This is a secret piece of paradise not to be ruined by hedonistic louts! (so don't read if that means you)... sea is a bath; family are friendly; food is cheap and yummy; rooms clean; sand pristine; beers chilled. Will go back one of these days. Book this place in confidence that you get a real Thai treat! more
My Phangan Resort was an absolute paradise at budget, budget prices. We had an air conditioned bungalow on the beach, it's in a really quiet private area, the staff were so helpful, being around 15 mins outside the main Haad rin beach didn't matter at all, they called taxis for us all the time, and it was nice to get... more
