Milky bay was a very enjoyable experience for us 4 travelling girls, we stayed here for 5 days in a fab villa for the full moon party, we had b & b which was also great! The location of the Milkybay is only 10 mins away from hadrin and about 20 mins to Salad beach, however the private beach we... more

I stayed 2 nights at the Milky Bay resort with the Half Moon party being our main purpose for the trip to Koh Phangan. The Half Moon party was a blast, the music and the location was great. Anyway, the resort had a nice layout and cool jungle atmosphere. The rooms were good enough and clean enough, no complaints. The... more

Stayed at the Milky Bay resort for four nights in Sept 09. Rooms were comfortable with all amenities required. Staff helpful and friendly. Good beach location, although at the time of year we were there the tide was low so not great for swimming. Food was good. Only drawback the location - few bars / restaurants within walking distance so... more

We stayed here on our friends recommendation who had stayed here a couple of months before and had remarked how amazing the staff were..... we didnt find that at all! We had a few really bad experiences - when we arrived and paid our outstanding fees we 'lost' £50 somehow.... One night we asked for a taxi and we were... more

I was hesitant after reading some reviews of the place. Three of us stayed there to experience the full moon party, and I have to say it was convinient. They organised a shuttle bus service to and from the full moon party, and it was far enough that we didnt hear noise when we slept. The food is nice, perhaps... more

Actually I just planned to stay for 2 nights, but stayed for 4. Great value for money, nice touches and attention to detail, great facilities. Western management around in case of communication issues. Good food selection and quality, nice and quiet beach for strolls. Wide choice of dvds available for quiet nights if you dont fancy the various moon parties.... more

This Resort is set on the southern side of the Island and not too far from the full moon parties on Haad Rin beach. The value for money (and check what the prices you are paying as they are not standard but can very from 5,000 to 10,000 for the same room) is not very good, and my double room... more

Beautiful resort with huts next to beach, surrounded by bamboo to give privacy and coolness in the thailand heat. Just a delightful stay. well priced and staff very helpful - both Thais and South Africans. really a lovely place to rest and relax. more

This is a decent place to stay particularly for low budget travellers. However, honeymooners or luxury travelers can definitely do better. While the bathrooms have modern toilets, the showers are really weird. The bathroom itself is actually "the shower stall", with the shower head and drain in the middle of the room, with no separate shower doors or bathtub; in... more

Firstly - unless you're waiting for the FMP and Had Rin is booked out, there is no reason in the world I can imagine people would want to stay in the BanTai/BanKhai area. The beach is the crappiest I saw on the entire island; rubbishy, rocky, although it is a little more scenic when full tide covers it all up.... more
