I thought that Harmony House was good value, cheap, okay location and was a good place to meet other young people travelling would recommended it to travellers on a budget who aren't looking for anything posh or fancy. Was clean and had the option of air con and a television.

The rooms were hot and filthy and had cockroaches, not uncommon for Thailand but the outside of our room was like a garbage pit, so made you feel a little uneasier than usual. We checked out of the first hostel because it was so noisy. This place was less noisy, but still quite difficult to sleep. I expect this is typical for most places on Phi Phi. the building smelt pretty bad, it was hot, but clean. The staff were pretty friendly and the breakfast is not worth getting up for.

I believe we paid 800 baht per night for a fan room, including breakfast (well two pieces of white toast and coffee). Average is the best way to describe it. Stayed here Feb 2013. My brother had a $300 dental guard in a plastic box. When cleaning the room, they threw out the box.
