I was booked to stay for 5 nights, but cut short my stay to 2 nights. The following were the major reasons:
- Only the sleeping area of each room is air-conditioned. The air-conditioning system isn't particurly good and makes the room smell damp.
- The rooms have "living areas" which are completely open plan. It is possible to wind down a blind, but they do not provide any significant degree of privacy.
- As soon as darkness begins to fall, the mosquitoes are EVERYWHERE
- There is no air-conditioned restaurant available for any meal
- There are no smoking-free areas
- The swimming pool was dirty and unstaffed
- Only the senior staff speak good English
- Hotel guests are given no priority over "walk in" guests in terms of restuarant places. If you don't book a table, you might not be allowed to eat if the restaurant is busy
