Phi Phi is a spectacular, beautiful island. It is definitely a place for the backpackers though as there are beach parties every night, and you can hear the music from your room. We were also hassled a lot more here by long tail drivers and dive shops than other places we visited. Arayaburi Resort is the last resort on the... more

Yes the room is not the best, the pool is just so so, the hill is very steep and the service is the worst you will find in Thailand. DONT go to Arayaburi if you like 5 star treatment and you need to be pampered. If you want that you should go elsewhere. All I wanted was a nice room... more

We were looking forward to the stop and drop part of our trip, having just taken an overnight train from Chiang Mai, a plane then cab ride and ferry to Phi Phi we were exhausted. We walked through tonsai (nice after sitting on the ferry for 1 1/2 hrs) When we finally got to the bayview we were assigned a... more

Stayed at ther Bayview Resort from the the 12 aug to the 16 aug. Had a very good time and really enjoyed our stay. If going to the bayview from Phuket wear a pair of shorts and thongs as you get off ferry and then catch a long tail boat to the beach in front of reception and you walk... more

We stayed in the Bayview bit of the resort (this is the cheaper option). After reading the reviews we were a bit sceptical. When we arrived, I saw some cracks in the walls etc, but the room was huge with the most stunning view from the balcony. Only someone used to proper 5 star luxury can complain!!! I was ill... more

We stayed 4/5 days in this resort and had really great time. We really appreciated its location - it is within 15 minutes walk from the village, so you can either stay in the calm or go to the "center" to have dinner etc - this was very convenient. The resort is nice with lot of tropical vegetation, are for... more

Service was very friendly, although on occasion I think a few things were lost in translation! The room was lovely and clean with all the amenities we needed and a spectucular view! The pool and pool bar were disapointing, but a great balcony attached to the room with deck chairs and reasonably priced beers in the bar fridge and lovely... more

My husband and I were really looking forward to staying at our "Boutique" accomodation in Koh Phi Phi, in the Krabi province. We travel often, and as a general rule, we prefer to stay at smaller, locally-operated resorts or villas. Arayaburi was far from what we expected. We checked in late- 2:45pm and were shown to a room which we... more

I will try to be objective about the Bay View - Arayaburi Resort on Phi Phi Island, Thailand. I know for myself I would not stay here again, but for those who are still considering it, here are my pros and cons: We stayed in the Grand Sea View room for $120 US a night for 4 nights Pros: 1)... more
