We arrived in Ko Tao dishevelled, lost and generally unprepared. We found a beach hut to drop our bags in and shower and then trip adviser led up to this. It has the mother of all hills to walk up. Seriously its steep but once you conquer that not only can you revel in the achievement you can do it... more

I picked this resort based on all the great reviews and we were not dissappointed. We arrived at the ferry and we were met by hotel staff and driven to the resort. The area where Chintakiri is located is much more relaxed than Sairee Beach. We were greeted at reception and checked into our room. The most amazing unobstructed views... more

We stayed at Chintakiri for 5 nights on our honeymoon in July. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly, they even called you by your first name. Our room was nice and the view from our balcony was fantastic. The views from the hotel are unbelievable!!! The banana pancakes we had at breakfast were... more

What shall i start...it was our honeymoon. we extended our stay because it was the most beautiful experience in Thailand. Koh Tao was very a relaxing, quiet and beautiful island. As soon as we arrived at the island, we knew how kind people there. A western gentleman from Golden Drivers helped us call the Chintakiri hotel. The car came within... more

WOW - found this little gem after having a ride around the island. What a spot and what great staff. We originally checked in for two nights but ended up staying 5. The pool is amazing with outstanding views over the bay and caused me to consume vast amounts of Singapore Slings! The staff were amazing and very friendly, to... more

My wife and I are travelling for 9 months after taking some time off from work and we hooked up with some friends in Chintakiri who were staying there, so we didn't actually pick the spot! Nevertheless, it was a great choice on their behalf: the views from the room or the dining area are sensational! Mind you though the... more

We stayed here for four nights, and it was just absolutely fantastic! First of all, the staff is extremely friendly, and service is personal (you are addressed by name). We only had diner there one time, but the food tasted very good. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the view over the bay is stunning. And that's why... more

The hill is a total nightmare, it really is very hard work! Good view. Free Internet. Hotel organised excellent snorkelling trip. A good 4* hotel more

Very flash rooms. Not suited to a family with young kids, there is not much room as the hotel is on the side of a very steep hill. The food was terrible the night we stayed there, but it's a steep walk up and down the hill for young legs to go elsewhere for food. Suited to couples, as long... more
