Loved the location and style of the place if you are lucky to be in Villa 1. I think if you are in the other 2 then your privacy is hampered as you can see into the other villa rooms as you go down the stairs. Tip - bring a torch! coming home at night after a few drinks always... more

We stayed at Anankhira for 3 nights in September, it was a very relaxing place, very secluded with a beautiful private dip pool (and we had no issues with the pool) and in a very eco friendly environment. Urgh, what a total rip off! If you are looking for a hotel that has zero privacy, no beach, no restaurant, critters galore...then this is your place. The only nice thing about the hotel was the view of the beach. The living quarters and bathroom are all outside, so there is no escaping the heat, frogs, massive lizards and bugs.... more
