Spent a single night in a type 'C' room. Comfy enough but a little run down, especially the bathroom which really needs to be redone. It's true what they say about the Pantawee Hotel, it's like being in Thailand, Laos and France all at once. The hotel just has that flavor, probably the outdoor dining area you must pass through as you walk towards the lobby. A basic hotel.... noisy rooms... Millions of mosquitoes..... Breakfast terrible...... Handy for the big market though and computers in all rooms (although not all working) and wireless throughut was two good things. I was with a group of 10 people in 5 rooms... all were the same standard. Luckily only there for one night.. next time will make the journey... more

Accommodation fine with lashings of hot water in the bathroom, Two big double beds, TV DVD and computer with internet connection. Ended up staying at Pantawee because most other places were full. Got charged 1,800 Bahts (!) for a room with a nasty floor mat and a bathroom with a stewage stench. Stay away if possible. more

The room is too small but location is supreme living in the center of Nong Khai. However, comparing to the price (500 baht) with breakfast, this hotel make good value to stay for a while. more
