We booked our room here early, thankfully, as walk-ups were getting turned away. The staff was super friendly and the food was quite good. We rented bikes and road along the Mekong River to Sala Keoku, an amazing sculpture garden. We relaxed in chairs made from tires by the river and read books. It was a very peaceful stay. more

Fantastic little place set in lush gardens, roms rustic but charming and the staff are helpful. This is a great place to break the journey between bangkok and Vientianne and you may well wish to extend your stay to explore down the banks of the river, which is lovely. more

I arrived in Nong Khai yesterday and it proved to be a really easy trip. Mutmee is every thing I heard and much more. The grounds are fantastic. Mut Mee garden/guesthouse is the perfect place to hang out and meet new people!!!! I wouldn't refer to it as a hotel. It's more like a summer camp. I've been to Mut Mee numerous times. I would like to echo many of the prior reviews by saying the quiet location by the river, the ambiance, the friendly owner and the thai food (foreign food is just ok) are the best things going for it.
