This hotel offers a fun and authentic experience of Thailand. Thaweesuk Boutique Homestay is a cozy hotel in the middle of Phang Nga. It's very close to Phang Nga Bay where you can go cave kayaking, visit the beautiful James Bond Island and the small island village of Panyee. Tours leave right from your hotel. The hotel owner, Dang, is immensely hospitable. He speaks very good English and will do whatever he can to help you see everything there is to see in the area. Dang and I drove scooters around town to see buddest temples, ancient cave paintings, waterfalls and even monkeys. Dang even took me to his organic farm where we ate fresh coconut! There's an amazing night market just a short walk from the hotel that serves fresh grilled skewers. I would buy dinner and beers from the market every night and bring it back to the hotel's patio. One day I met some of Dang's friends who offered to take me up to a lookout point. The next morning we left before dawn and drove up a steep hill where we got to watch the sunrise over Phang Nga Bay. It was one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen in my life. This hotel offers a small town Thailand experience. The people are friendly , there's next to no tourists, Dang is a fantastic host and beautiful nature experiences are at your fingertips. I highly recommend a few days stay at Thaweesuk especially for people looking for something more adventurous.…

We enjoyed our stay here. However, it was an strange stay! Unfortunately, the owners had had to leave town to go to a funeral which meant that we had to communicate with them via facebook messenger, whilst at the hotel we were looked after by their young daughters (who were fantastic in the circumstances!) Despite this, they really went out of their way to organise a day trip to Phang Nga Bay and organise our travel on to Khao Sok. They arrived back on our final evening and were absolutely lovely. The hotel itself is really interesting- it has been converted from a very traditional family home. The room is on the small side, but was big enough for us. Also, the view from the roof terrace is amazing.Overall a cool hotel and, given the circumstances, really great owners.

Excellent stay here! I planned to stay for one night and ended up staying for three because of the lovely family at Thaweesuk who made me fall in love with Phang Nga city. The owners and their two daughters were kind and helpful hosts who shared their time, their stories, and their art supplies with my friends and I. I recommend this place to anyone, and not just to pass through for one night- it is worth staying a few days at least!

When we arrived the lady didn’t know what we had booked and tried to give us a fan room instead of air con room. We had to ask about breakfast but she didn’t seem sure about times. We had to ask for remote for the tv as not in the room. We also had to ask about WiFi as no information given. We put some washing in but it was still sitting in the same place the following day. We didn’t get it back the following day as stated, or later that evening. She told us 6am in the morning it would be returned. When we went for breakfast it was still not there and we were leaving that morning. She made a phone call and we finally got it back. We were then overcharged and some items were still wet. Breakfast was nice but not much. The second morning we were not even asked what we wanted just given toast and coffee. We rented a motorbike and the first one we got had no oil in it so had to change it. The room was clean. The bed comfortable although the bed cover to not fit the bed as it was so small. Shower was ok and hot. Was really looking forward to our stay here but unfortunately felt let down…

I could recommend Thaweesuk Hotel Boutique to every solo/couple/or family traveler who loves to stay in a beautiful architectural building owned by a very hospitable, warm and helpful family. They are happy to help you out with a trip to Phang Nga Bay, show you the way to waterfalls, assist in motorcycle rental, tell you about good local restaurants or have a beer with you :D And definitely don't forget to check out the roof terrace with stunning view on the breathtaking surroundings of Phang Nga Town!

Very Friendly familyowned Hotel. My Room was Clean. The owner is very nice and helps you out with Everything. The phang nga National Park Tour he offers (Sayan Tour) is wonderful. But beside that there is not much to do in the Town.

We are so happy that we went straight to Phang Nag town after arriving at the Phuket airport. It's such a friendly, quite and not touristy town. Great little restaurants and the tour with Sayan to Phang Nga National Park was adventures and exactly what we were looking for and all for a great price compared to the prices in Phuket! We saw monkeys and dolphins!

I've always loved these provincial hotels in Thailand, and Thaweesuk did not disappoint. It was a welcome break from resort-style hotels in Krabi and Phuket. Clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. A taste of real Thailand. You could sense the history of the building. The roof deck was great for sunrise and sunset. Traditional bathroom with instant-on shower mounted next to the toilet. Beds comfortable, and it helps to redirect the AC (for me) so it doesn't blow directly on the bed. Our room was way too bright for sleeping and could have used some curtains, but not a big deal. Coffee in the morning was good. Decent Thai food across the street and breakfast from vendors at the market a couple blocks down. We were only there for one night but I wished we had longer to stay. Phang Nga town seems very relaxed. Be careful though, when you're up at 6am and the cat invites you to scratch its belly, it might bite you.…
