It's taken me a few months to get around to writing this review - I stayed here in January for 3 nights with my girlfriend. I'm afraid to say that my memories of this place haven't improved with time! In fact, I would say that staying at Lom Lae was certainly the low point of our 2 week trip to... more

We stayed there for four nights in March 2009. It is a lovely little resort and the bungalows are very comfortable and have plenty of charm with their spacious verandas and hammocks. The 'Manager' is a German lady who really does an outstanding job at making sure that everyone is happy and that all of your needs are being met.... more

We stayed here for two nights in December and really enjoyed our stay. This is definitely for people who like to get away from it all. Our bungalow was nice, romantic and very peaceful. I should say that if you are afraid/wary of animals/insects it might not be for you. On our last night we had a few visitors...I didn't... more

My husband & I travelled to Thailand many times in the past staying at various resorts. We came upon some friends who also frequent Thailand and they were very excited to tell us about Koh Yao Noi which is a lovely island in itself, and suggested we stay at LomLae Beach Resort. We explained how fussy we were and they... more

We booked this resort since we were looking for a nice place to stay on a beach, experience Thai food and have fun. It turned out to be not exactly what we were expecting… - The beach… was there one where you could actually swim? It was not swimmable at any time of day – it was shallow and muddy... more

Dont waste your time reviewing all the other accommodation on the island. Lomlae is where it's at. This is a true taste of the islands and thankfully where tourism hasn't wrecked the ambience or view. The bungalows have enough privacy between each dwelling, and the sound of nature will surround you, so leave the ipod at home. The staff have... more

What can I say about Lom Lae! If you are looking for a slice of real Thailand away from the tourists, high rises, this is the place to go. We stayed here for 7 nights and fell in love with the island. It is so peaceful and relaxing, Lom Lae helps with all of that. It is situated down the... more

An excellent and low key 'resort'. Very laid back with good, well spaced lodges/bungalows which are right on the beach. Although a good beach, the water is not clear due to fine silt which becomes apparent at low tide when the sea is inaccessible across the muddy silt. Our visit coincided with well timed high tides and the warm water,... more

Lom Lae is beatifull, no doubt. The beach is also nice and quiet...BUT: The water is not crystal clear in this area. In fact, the visibility is quite poor. To us, this was dissapointing. To others it may not matter at all. more

Very nice bungalow resort on a desert beach. If you want to relax in a n ecological paradise far away from civilization, this is your best option. Amazing view on the Phang Nga bay from your hammock! The coconut surrounded bungalows are distant from one another so you won't be disturbed by the other guests. The bed has a very... more
