Booked on the net and was not sure what to expect. but what a lovely surprise. Our room was large, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Clean bedding, towels and beach towels every day, fresh fruit and flowers. Coffee and tea replenished and turn down service in the evening produced total replenishment, washed cups and so on and scented oils lit.... more

During our travels, we found this resort on the internet. It is not what it seems. It is 15km's from town, Khao Lak. No buses run to the hotel from the main road, a 5 km trip. A taxi is available @ 300thb per trip. there are no shops nearby, within walking distance, so if you come here, with no... more

My husband and I stayed at the Takolaburi hotel in Khao Lak for two and half weeks in January and February of 2009, and found it to be very good. We had a Deluxe room for which we paid 2500 baht per day. The advertised rate for this room was 4500 baht, but we emailed the hotel about two weeks... more
