We stayed in this hotel for 10 nights after a 2 night stay in the Shangri-La, Bangkok. The latter hotel is out of this world, so there was a slight dissapointment when we arrived in the CSBResort. The room was a lot smaller(but certainly not small) and the furniture was a tiny bit worn. Also, the room never seemed to get the sun shining into it so it was a little dark, but I think every room would be the same as they are all facing the same way (towards the sea). I suppose there was a lot of folaige cover from the palm trees outside as well. There were all the usual mod cons; ie. hairdryer, alarm clock, TV with movie channels, but no iron which was a bit annoying. The bathroom was lovely, and the room was very cosy at night, esp. when all the lamps were on (there were about 5). I wouldn't let the above put you off though as I think we were just spoiled in Bangkok.
