Stayed for one night during 15 night tour of Thailand. Good for nearby ruins. Did not visit town so cannot comment upon location for this. Wife was not feeling to good night stayed so did not eat out. Room was clean, decent size, nice bathroom. Tv as usual in Thailand poor for number of channels. This was my first visit to Thailand and the journey was exhausting. But the service and the friendliness of the staff at the Pailyn made up for everything. I enjoyed the food (buffet and menu) and the staff could not have been more helpful from the bellboy to the reception staff. Thank you Pailyn, I will be back! Frank Baines more

We stayed at the Pailyn hotel in January 2008 and were satisfied with our stay. The rooms are spacious and pleasant enough, however they need to be redecorated. The hotel has a pool. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was far from both old and new Sukhothai and the front desk was not at all helpful in arranging transportation to get into town. The staff was downright rude, from the front desk to the wait staff at the restaurant. The location is horrible and even though the rooms seemed clean... more

I don't recommend it. The food is terrible. we've had a first dinner at the hotel. We haven't been able to eat half of our plate. Breakfasts are ok but it's the worst we've had in 3 weeks vacations. People don't care at all as they only have travel agencies arriving in the evening and leaving on the morning !... more
