We found this great guesthouse in the French version of Routard guide and were not deceived! Even if we stayed there for just one night we could appreciate all the pro's of this place. The owner is very friendly as well as his wife. As soon as we arrived he showed us all the places worth visiting on the map... More

Appreciated our stay at Lotus Village, owners are very nice and are always eager to help us make the best of our stay. We stayed in a little bungalow which was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts and a few lunches we had there were very good. The staff always nice and smiling. We would go back there anytime. Owners also... More

My wife and I loved our stay at Lotus Village. Make sure you have the full breakfast included in your room price. The breakfast is fabulous. Homemade Jam, Toast, real butter, yoghurt, Museli, pancakes, eggs any way you like them, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, and one of the best cups of coffee I've had in Thailand. The teak... First, the pros: (1) The location is great -- if you turn right at the main entrance, you can walk through its market (and it's really a farmer's market rather than food vendors). There are food stands the further you walk. (2) The villa grounds are nice, if you can stand the constant air of smoke from the other guests.... More

The place is well located (next to the night market) and the garden is nice. Rooms are ok ( nothing outstanding but for the price it's fine).Could be a very good option. BUT we really felt that the children were a problem and not welcome and the owners were not friendly at all ( with us and with other customers).... More

We enjoyed our three nights at Lotus Garden. Our room had A/C and a patio in front with chairs and table, a plus in Thailand. The room was very attractive and clean. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. We had delicious mango smoothies on the patio each afternoon. We... More

Stayed 2 nights in a kingsize log cabin, the room was clean and spacious. Cabins include private porches which were nice on quite evenings. The owners and staff are very attentive and approachable, with a beautifully decorated cafe area. Breakfast was delicious with filtered coffee. I would highly recommend this resort for a unique stay in Sukothai, with a short... More

I realise I go against what the majority of reviews said, but I wasn't really that impressed with the Lotus Village. The overall setting of the grounds was very nice, as others have described, however, the accommodation itself was very basic. I stayed in their Superior Fan bungalow, which has no air conditioning - not a problem when I was... More

Lotus village is nestled in a quiet street not far from the center of Sukhothai. We loved it. The hotel consists of a series of small buildings scattered on a large lot sprinkled with ponds and lovely mature and lush vegetation. The room we had was an economical room for three people. It was very spacious and overlooked the large... More

We spent a very pleasant few days at lotus village. Large rooms in pretty wooden houses scattered through a compound with well kept gardens and Lily ponds, the only downside was the poor (though not awful) shower in our bathroom. breakfast (yogurt and toast) was very good, staff were helpful but not intrusive - on arrival the owner provided detailed...
