I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, I was impressed by the quality of the staff, a special mention to Lucy and his friends for providing bicycles and DVD's in no time. You can cycle to the national park in 10 minutes, along the route there are some cafes and restaurant to eat or drink a nice latte. I highly... more

This resort with huge, romantic, special decorated bedrooms is located in old Sukhothai very closed to the Historical park. There is nothing better after a day walking or biking from one temple to another than a long shower in a openair bathroom or jumping in the pool and having a cold drink. The staff is really friendly and, Wattana, the... more

We stayed at the Tharaburi (or Thalabuli - which is the way the locals pronounce it, which is a bit hard to understand) for one night on our trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and quite liked it. We hade Deluxe rooms which had a lovely decor, indoor bathrooms and a well functioning airconditioning. Probably a bit on the expensive... more

Beautifully designed place - their website does not do it justice. There are the high end rooms which are gorgeous (we stayed in a suite & loved it), and the cheap rooms which are your average cheap rooms. The whole place is lovely, great little pool to jump into after a hot day at the ruins, very good inexpensive restaurant,... more

The hotel is in a great location, just 10 minutes walk away from the historic park - with lots of bike hire shops very close by. Overall the hotel is nice looking - with an impressive reception and common areas (and an exceptionally lovely pool, even if it's a bit cold). With only a few rooms it's nice and quiet... more

Our experience at this hotel was about average. We weren't expecting anything phenomenol but a few things really bothered us during our stay. Our air conditioning unit, which was located on a wall, began to leak a lot of water early in the evening. We contacted the frotn desk as we were worried the water would damage the hardwood floors.... more

We stayed 3 nights in this resort with my wife and our 2 small kids. Overall experience was pretty confusing - certainly not a good hotel to go with small kids - and QUITE EXPENSIVE compared to similar hotels in Thailand. The good stuff : The hotel is nice looking, quite small, staff is really nice and the thai restaurant... more

We stayed in room 101 and thought it was a great value! This room in the older part of the hotel but it is quite centrally located and the room is made of teak wood which I found to be charming and quite beautiful. The room has A/C, a television with English channels, a comfortable king size bed and is... more

We've stayed at Tharaburi Resort only for 1 night in July. After 4 days in Bangkok it was fantastic to find this wonderful place. This resort is located in Old Sukhothai 10 minute walk to the ruins. They gave us a warm welcome and provided us 2 bicycles to visit the ruins. We had a Deluxe room with Chinese decoration.... more
