My wife and I stayed at the Minzifa for four nights during our trip through the 'Stans. Our travel agent in Tashkent recommended it, despite our initial reservations, and he was absolutely correct. In reading the other two reviews, I was struck by the divergence between them--as though they were written about two different hotels. I would agree almost entirely... more

The hotel is out of the way in a very poor location, away from the city center. Rooms are very very small , threadbare and not clean. Would definitely avoid this hotel.My travel agent warned me not to choose this hotel and he was right. Not a good choice!!! more

An 8 room hotel centred around a small, pretty courtyard, the Minzifa was a pleasant surprise amongst some mediocre accommodation experiences in Central Asia. It is reminiscent of a riad in Marrakesh. The hotel is conveniently located in the old Jewish quarter close to many of the city sights.
