Stayed 2 nights in a superior room and 1 night in a suite. Definitely pay the extra $50 bucks for the suite! Rooms were big, clean and serviced daily. The Rex Hotel lies in just about the centre of Vung Tau, short walk from everything (though walking is nothing a Vietnamese would even think of; he drives his motorbike), maybe except the marketplace.
