We stayed at this place for 2 nights ( on 5th and 6th Oct). We were given a room, built on the style of a Batak house overlooking Lake Toba. The rooms were not fitted with any AC or even a ceiling fan. Later in the evening we realized that we needed the blankets as the place got chilly due to nice breeze from the Lake Toba. Upon our request, we were given a small hand held type fan. The rooms come with a balcony where one can keep viewing Lake Toba throughout the day and night. You pay all your money to get this.


One Dutch Travel Group was there in the hotel when we were there. The hotel staff has a music group who played the local songs after dinner. The staff were very courteous and the food was nothing great to write about. We are vegetarians and therefore, our views cannot be taken seriously. Good that they provided some vegetarian food.
