we went to treetops on the first night of our safari. We found it a great place to visit. we saw elephants, a black rhino, warthogs, buffalo and a variety of birds. The food was good and everyone sat together to eat which was nice. more

We stayed here for one night at the end of September 2009. This was our third stay here, if it wasn’t for the fact that the Travel Collection’s Safari is such excellent value we would never have stayed here so many times! The drought had caused the waterhole to almost completely dry up which meant we had our worst wildlife... more

We paid a supplement of over £80 each for a night at this lodge rather than the Outspan. What we got for this simply was not worth it. We accept that the rooms were small and not ensuite, but the communal washrooms were also inadequte - not enough loos, showers and washbasins. The meal , taken squeezed onto benches at... more

Like many people we only stayed at Treetops one night. We arrived quite late, so didn’t get to see much of the waterholes in daylight. The rooms are small and the bathrooms shared, but given how little time you spend in the rooms and the short stay, this was not an issue. The food was plentiful and the wooden shuttle... more

We spent one night here as part of our two-week safari. Lunch at Outspan was disappointing, but the transfer to Treetops was well organised. Having heard about the world famous Treetops lodge we were very disappointed with what we found. The wildlife was very sparse, by day or night (at least we got an unbroken night's sleep) and the food... more

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our safari. To check in here you first go to the Outspan Hotel. Check in was a bit chaotic with different people giving varying instructions as to what to do with the luggage you are storing and the luggage going to Treetops. I would reccommend finding a member of staff and... more

This is the most fantastic place. We saw a huge herd of elephants at the water hole - they arrived at about 5pm and stayed all night. There are various viewing points, some of which are high up and some at ground level so you get a superb variety of perspectives. The rooms are small but perfectly formed - but... more

The animals you see at Treetops , will be seen aplenty at other places but it is the perspective of peeping on the private affairs of elephants from way above them that makes it unique . As long as the elephants commandeer the waterhole , no other animal gets a look in , so the action starts late at night... more

We stayed here on the eve of my 28th birthday! It was fantastic - we didn't see anything overlly exotic - but we did see lots of elephant, buffalo and hyena. But this was just one day of a week long safari - plenty of lions in the Masai Mara to worry about seeing them here! You have to bear... more
