The hotel is one of the few middle-range, middle- priced and decent places in Nakuru. It is actually situated in Nakuru town itself and not on the edge of or in Nakuru Safari Park as is implied by the address given here.
The decor in the place is over-the-top - but it's fun! I found the rooms somewhat dark and dingy, but they were clean and comfortable with a mosquito net should it be required. The water in my room never got very warm, but that wasn't too much of a problem. What was an issue was the volume of water which came out of the shower - sometimes not very much at all!
Breakfast was good - a banquet affair, and if you feel peckish during the day there is a reasonably restaurant/cafe outside in the courtyard where the food was good - even if a little heavy on the chips.
