This lodge is wonderful! It is set in the Ngutuni Sanctury & is only 15mins from Tsavo East. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The views from the room balcony are amazing! You sit in the restaurant and have a perfect view of the watering hole that is constantly being used by a variety of animals but mainly elephants. The... more

As an introduction to the tranquility of this vast area, this little place would be hard to beat. Entirely comfortable, though making no pretentions to extensive facilities, this is a place to chill out, watch the animals as they come in to the 'private' waterhole, and experience the first rate game spotting opportunities in the surrounding sanctuary; our best 'mass'... more

Ngutuni Lodge was our first stop on a Kenyan safari. From the refreshing towels and drinks on arrival to the friendly wave of the staff as we left, everything about this lodge met or exceeded our expectations. The lodge is set in a large game reserve which seems to contain a wide variety of wildlife. The lodge buildings have been... more

We stayed only 1 night here on a safari organised through Rhino Safaris of Mombasa( they have a stand/stall at the airport just outside arrivals). It is portrayed as a 4* lodge but probably rates closer to 3* in that it has no swimming pool. What it does have is a waterhole a matter of feet from it's dining areaand... more

Arrived hot and dusty to be met with chilled fruit juice and wet warm towels - marvellous. The rooms were standard, spacious and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable (no mosquito nets though - shame) and each room has its own balcony overlooking the waterhole. We showered - absolutely necessary, and went for dinner. The food was excellent (can recommend the... more

When we arrived at Mombassa airport we had no idea what to expect from our safari holiday. We arrived at Ngutuni Lodge and were given such a friendly welcome. We were given a cold flannel and a drink, so welcome after the long flight and drive to the lodge. Our room had a lovely view, and through the trees we... more
