I had been to Tosovo in the last week of April for a offsite and spend 1 night at the salt lick lodge. It is a very unique and maybe the only one of its kind .It feels great to see Elephants drinking water just below the lodge. The food was excellent and so was the whole ambience more

Highly recommended....it is set in the middle of the african plains; it is a breath taking experience.....well worth the extra money and miles. One of the most amazing experiences of my life was waking up to the niose of elephants roaring outside our bedroom window.....absolutely fantastic! Definitely recommend this lodge! more

We spent one night at Salt Lick Lodge and what a great night! Hundreds of elephants came to the waterhole which sits right under the hotel to drink! There were tiny babies standing under their mothers and then being shown by their mothers how to drink. An amazing sight - unfortunately there was not too much water at the waterhole... more

I visited this lodge on concrete pillars in Jan '06 and several years later I still hold fond memories of my experience there.
