This place is beautiful, set amongst the trees, on top of a hill. The architectural design is original. The owner (Anton) is helpful from the first email contact till the goodbyes. We only had one problem- small red fire ants in the room. We had baby food and milk for my girls in the room and these attracted nasty ants... more

The people, especially Anton, are wonderful hosts. Anton has carefully designed his resort to reflect the culture and environment of the area. This place is highly recommended to birdwatchers. The resort is located at an elevated area with high vantage point that you are almost eye-level with the canopy of the forest just accross your chalet's veranda. So many birds... more

You know you've found paradise when you alter your travel plans to stay longer, which we did. Paganakan Dii is a little oasis of comfort, quality and tranquility. We stayed in a family room with a Kings sized bed and bunkbeds for our 6 and 4 year olds. The beds had crisp white linen and very comfortable mattresses and the... more

We stayed 3 nights in one of the private rooms/chalet. It is a beautifully constructed retreat. The room was lovely, with an open air bathroom so you could literally shower in the jungle but with the luxury of hot water. The sliding door to the balcony looked directly into the jungle allowing you to hear the jungle noices 24/7. The... more

we stayed here for one night as part of our honeymoon. Coming from no frills stay by the river this place was a sigh of relief. We had the air con chalet (which also has mosy net) with a outside shower & toilet. The place has the BEST FOOD we have tasted in all of Borneo, i recommend nearly everything... more

I have never stayed anywhere quite like Paganakan Dii, and it was definitely a highlight on my recent trip to Borneo. We stayed in a duplex chalet which was superb. The wooden doors and panels slid back to allow you to be completely at one with nature and the outdoor bathroom was an unusual but fantastic experience. Showering with a... more

This place is truly unique. The walls of the bungalows are all on sliding tracks so you can just throw them open and hear birds and see trees. The bathrooms are all open air. The whole place is so nice and clean, with nice hammocks and hanging chairs everywhere. The sheets are really high quality and the "lobby" is an... more

We were 2 families in total - 4 adults and 5 kids aged 11-18. Stayed 2 nights altogether in 4 chalets. Great communication via email before hand. Friendly greeting on arrival at the airport. Anton had organised all of our taxis for our various arrivals and departures which was much appreciated. We were able to check in to 2 of... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in one of the chalets. The place is simply beautiful and relaxing. Very near sepilok and the rainforest centre both of which we enjoyed. (We went to sepilok in the afternoon and it was great - heard from others that the morning is more like the zoo) The outdoor shower and bathroom was great... more

I stayed here last week and can honestly say it was a highlight of the trip, for both my partner and I. This place offers fantastic value for money - the cabins are just lovely, with walls that slide open to allow you to enjoy the jungle surroundings. The bedding is crisp and white, adding a bit of luxury to... more
