I cannot express my disgust more at the appaling service I recieved at the resort. Given it is a beautiful place but is completely ruined by the 'pack' nature of the rude staff who hang around in massive groups, screeching, spitting and staring as if you shouldnt be there. everything is too much trouble, items are added onto your bill... more

Stayed here 2 nights primarily due to Cost and Location to Orangutan Centre. Breckfast included in price and and can just turn up at meal time and prices quite reasonable . The 'Resort' requires 50% deposit, but they do not have a secure site with which to accept payment, so a troublesome procedure ensues whereby they send out a form to fill in giving your credit card details which you then scan/fax back. Decided to stay in Sepilok so that we could view more than one feeding session at the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Definitely well worth it. Sepilok Jungle Resort is the closest to the centre. The place is disguisting beyond belief and the staff are completely inefficient and RUDE.
