I was very happy to find this hotel by accident, and after looking at some other places, immediately saw just how much better it was. Only a few blocks from the ferry dock, initially seemed very plain on the outside. Inside it is very clean, the beds are super comfortable. We paid $35 for 2 people for 1 night in a 2 double bed room.. The rooms are impeccably clean and THERE IS HOT WATER!!! The owners are an Italian woman and her American husband.... more
This should really be listed as a hotel, since there are so few listed here for Isla de Ometepe...Trip advisor can you help me? This is a very nice clean property located about 200 yards up the street from the pier. They offer large clean rooms and the best food in town. more
Disclaimer: I did not stay at this place. Instead, I spent a couple of hours in the morning eating their wonderful food, talking to the owners Simone and Robert and taking a tour of the place (see pics). I was incredibly impressed.
