Currently staying at the Portea, leaving tomorrow. Had a pretty confusing time selecting the right hotel in Lagos. The reviews however, definitely helped. Hence, writing my own. Have stayed at the Sheraton and the Victoria crown plaza before, but this hotel is so much better than these other over-rated hotels. I have been travelling to Lagos, Nigeria for many years. Until now, one of the few options on the mainland of Lagos has been the Sheraton Hotel. Unfortunately the Sheraton (and Eko on Victoria Island) have outrageous rooms rates and give little in return. It is sad to see that little or none of the revenue from these two hotels... more
