I arrived at this hotel at 10.30pm after an eventful journey on a motorbike and covered in mud - they didn't bat an eyelid and were more than helpful. I had also been bitten by a local dog - they organised a Doctor for me in 10 mins to sort out rabies jabs etc.
This is an amazing hotel in a very poor, remote and wild area of Peru. Running water on tap and electricity are rare for locals here.
Run by a staff team under 30 years old - nothing is too much trouble- their hospitality is amazing. They have Wifi in reception, the rooms are spotless and there is also a laundry service. The food itself is poor but I found the food awful everywhere in Peru - it's a third world country after all. However the service is friendly and thoughtful and more than make up for this. If you find yourself in this village I believe this is the best hotel you could find - for me it really was a diamond.
