We stayed at Olazas for quite a few days between treks. Rosa, the little women who really runs the place is the best. She takes care of everything for you with a great smile. The staff here were so so friendly and helpful, Tito really helped us to organise our treks around the surrounding lakes and parks. He discouraged us from hiring guides, as the walks are easily done alone. He booked us taxis, which were dirt cheap and very reliable and gave us all the information needed to see some great sights around... more

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The interior is artfully decorated, and painted in warm welcoming colors and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Very nice bed&breakfast in Huaraz. The rooms are spacious and modern, especially the bath rooms. Very nice terrace on the roof with views of the mountains. Nice community room with chimney, tv, music, couches and free internet. Great service (tours, cooked lunches/ dinners, dvd rentals, maps, taxi service). Very friendly and helpful staff! more

Of all the places we stayed in Peru, we liked Olaza's the best. The place is clean, modern, and comfortable. Never a cold shower, real coffee, free internet, and kitchen access.
