We stayed here because all other hotels were full; we can understand why this one wasn't. The heavy odious smell of air freshener throughout the building nearly made me sick. The corridors were dark and gloomy, the carpets heavily stained. The room was tastelessly furnished. The air conditioning was noisy and there were no instructions supplied. We arrived about 10pm but the restaurant was closed.
Breakfast the next morning was mediocre and I could not believe my eyes when a dog on a lead emerged from the kitchen door and took his master for a walk through the restaurant past the breakfast buffet. If that's the standard of hygiene in front of the clients, what do they do behind closed doors, I wonder?
I filled in the hotel quality questionnaire truthfully and requested a reply by email but I assume they threw it in the bin.
I have never experienced such poor accommodation at such an inflated price anywhere in Romania. I agree with the previous reviewer, I am afraid. more
