Having been told that this was a really nice hotel, the best in the area, we were looking forward to our 3 night stay during a tiring tour of northern romania. What a let down. It is old and tired and appears to be living on past laurels. The bedroom was small with heavy furniture and dead flowers in the window box on the very small balcony! Toilet was not flushed and the curtain tie back hook was held in place in the wall by a wad of toilet paper! The room was very hot and when we raised this with the owner, presuming he would offer us a fan or something, he just told us it would get cooler later! In addition, there is a huge extension being built, which not only appears to have devoured what used to be the terrace, it seems to be taking up any attention, money and interest of the owner.
