Herceg Novi is idlyllic, and Hotel Aleksandar adds to the happy mood. The rooms are very large, have wonderful views and are quite comfortable.

The cafe/restaurant serves above average food with a nice dose of live music at dinner. The included breakfast is very acceptable.

We especially enjoyed the people-watching as they walked along the 'boardwalk' at the cafe.

The staff is anxious to please, and has a reasonable command of English.

We loved it, as we did of all of Montenegro. Go before the tourist find it!!
