Being a fussy traveller, I insisted we were shown rooms before agreeing to stay at this hotel. I like my starch white linen and cosy clean towels too much to accept second best! I was extremely pleased to be shown ‘best room in house’. A huge four-poster bed enrobed in nets, Air-conditioning and ceiling fan, large bathroom with shower, TV, mini-bar etc and the impressive chaise-lounge. The deal-maker came when he opened the rear door to reveal a large balcony overlooking the soon to be sun-setting ocean. Unbelievably the cost was only $35US for the room including brekkie. Mrs Fusspot was satisfied!
We went for a swim in an adequate pool, in need of a little bit of renovation around the shower area, but overlooking the beautiful if rather narrow beach. The result of this is that at high tide it is difficult to navigate a walk along the beach and the handful of sun-beds were crammed into a small area.
