During my holidays in Sri Lanka a couple of friends, my wife and me went on a 2-day tour to Kandy.
In this tour we've spent a night on Devon Hotel in Kandy.
It is a modest hotel. The rooms are big and were fairly clean, however a restyling would be much welcomed. Additionally the beds weren't the most comfortable ones.
Even though neither the hotel facilities nor the rooms were nothing special the restaurant was very good (dinner was great and the breakfast was also good and complete), the staff was very nice and the swimming pool was ok.
Globally for a 1-night stay the hotel is bearable... for more I wouldn't advice it. more
