Quiet place closed to Tangalle, if you are looking for a good rest with beautiful surroundings and ocean views. Family atmosphere, very good food and service. Goyambokka beach 5 minutes walking distance.

The location is great and the stuff friendly! But there are 2 obstacles to recommend this hotel: 1. There are only 2 big tables for all guest. So you have to share the table with 5-10 other guests... 2. If you want to experience Sri Lanka instead of Germany then you should avoid this hotel...

Very racist guesthouse owners. Dont interact with non-german and non-white guests and differential treatment in meted out to make sure you are not welcome there. The Sri Lankan people who work there are really sweet and helpful and are the only saving grace. Avoid like plague if you have dark skin and cannot speak German!!!

Particularly nice owners helping in all kind of the matters. Quiet place in the middle of palm trees. If someone looking for a relaxing and good price longer term stay I advise this one hotel!

Our stay at Lucky Star was by mere coincedence. We were supposed to go to one of the regular hotels when the driver hinted to us why not go to this private villa with real hosts. You'll love them, he said and we sure did. It was just fantastic. The beach, the pool, and the view. Julie & Issam
