Punta Manglar is a great place to stay in Bocas, if you're not up for late night partying in town. Water taxis are required to get to and from Punta Manglar. There are several free boats connected with the hotel and Bocas Watersports that run daily, but other times a taxi must be hired, and this can be difficult after 9 PM or so. Cabina are minimal, we were in 5 with AC and hot water. NOte that cabina 4 and 5 are connected by a common THIN wall, which allows every sound through. Other three are free-standing. Jaime and his wife are wonderful hosts, and we loved their dogs Balboa and Marino! Raquel took excellent care of us and we had a wonderful time! If you're into late night partying, it's better to stay in town, where there are namy choices. If you want quiet removal from town, Punta Manglar is the place!
