What a great place!! The rooms are nothing fancy but they are very comfortable and quiet .. but what is WONDERFUL is the big back shared deck upstairs that overlooks the ocean - and the downstairs deck that's right on the water where breakfast is served in the morning (wonderful food) and beers are served in the evening. Although we had a shared balcony and a smallish room, everything else about the Bocas Inn more than met our expectations and requirements. From the delightful and extremely friendly manageress, Hercelia, to the excellent food, we could not really fault anything. We showed up at the hotel with no reservation. Nobody was at the front desk, so our taxi driver found someone for us and we reserved a room. There is a laid back unpretentious atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and very hospitable. Accomodation is very simple but clean - don't expect crisp linen bedding! We stayed at the Bocas Inn during our honeymoon this summer. This was by far the best location in Bocas Del Toro. A stroll up the main street brought you to all of the fun restaurants and shops in the area.
