My wife and I stayed here on our way to Panama City Beach for Christmas. By the time we got to exit 205 on I-65, it was time to stop! We actually chose the place because the sign was bright and it was away from the interstate noise a little.

The lobby had the usual strong curry and B.O. smell that is becoming the norm in older, smaller, motels but the lady (Gidget) who was running the desk was obviously a native of Alabama and friendly to tired travelers.

We rented a room with a king sized bed and I must say I was surprised! The bed was VERY comfortable! The room looked like they had spent some money on renovations and it had a microwave and a refrigerator in it that were both very clean. The TV was a 25" model and had several channels. We spent a quiet night and got up early to continue our trek to Florida. They offered coffee in the lobby but we were on our way to breakfast so I didn't get any.

The bathroom was clean and the towels were well sized... more
