This place is a great place in Delhi, where it seems like it's hard to find middle ground between over-the-top 5-star expensive places and total dives. The service is incredible - there's no menu, just explain what you'd like to eat and they'll make it for you. THe rooms are gorgeous as are the bathrooms, and everything's spotless. Good internet... more

I would have to agree with some recent reviews that this is neither a boutique hotel nor a haveli. Not splitting hairs here - really, it's not. And while it is nice in many ways, it is never luxurious. It is small, somewhat pretty, and unusually situated in a sleepy, residential enclave. For some this may be ideal, but taxis... more

Located away from the city traffic, the hotel offers an excellect quite environment to relax and enjoy. The hospitality is excellent and makes u feel looked after so well. Worth mentioning is the 24 hour service where u can have almost anything in ur room, something u can only get in home only. The design of the rooms is excellent... more

The language of travel seems to have become confusingly debased - the concept of 'boutique' in particular. Is the Amarya Haveli a 'boutique" hotel. If this means good kit (soft pillows and a good bed) no. Regular running hot water? - not on our recent trip. A charming room with some antiques or a skilful fit out - well not... more

Would endorse all the other comments- this is a superb haveli- interesting decor and rooms, with all mod cons. Super staff & management- we were greeted by the French owner, who was charming, and this pervaded into the rest of the staff. The rooms are fun- we had the Bollywood room and the Blue room- both nice in their own... more

Stayed here for a week while working in Delhi. It was a perfect place to stay. Staff were unbelievably nice, helpful, professional. The rooms are big, quiet, clean and lovely bathrooms. I liked the funky Bollywood neon in my room (which you can switch off!). Everything is provided for. Lovely roof terrace, good food, 24 hour food and other service.... more

This is exactly the type of place you want to stay when arriving in a strange and foreign land. The Amarya Haveli is a beautiful mix of Indian colour and style coupled with Western comforts. We arrived in Delhi with only the first three nights of a month-long trip booked in this hotel that had been reccomended by friends who'd... more

We spent three nights at Amarya Haveli in April, and were delighted with it, especially as Delhi hotels can be expensive and unreliable. While others told us of ghastly experiences at their hotels, we had nothing but praise for Amarya Haveli and its discreet and friendly staff. Mixing Indian and European elements of design and comfort it is stylish and... more

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at this cute Boutique Hotel in Delhi - "Amarya Haveli", when we visited few months ago. We had arrived quite late at night, but were met at the airport and taken to our lovely hotel. We stayed in the 'green room', which I recall was called 'Srinagar'. The room decor was... more

My wife and I had a most memorable stay at the Amarya Haveli on a recent visit to New Delhi from Africa. It is located in a very peaceful, tree lined suburb of South Delhi, away from the noise and bustle of the city. We found a very well trained staff; polite and always on hand to do whatever it... more
