Like others have said the location is good and from the outside it looks like a nice place. Inside its really tired looking and quite grubby. The bathrooms are quite mouldy and the rooms have a really strong chemical smell to them. The lift is also really dodgy - so best to be avoided. The staff were a bit mixed,... more

Myself with my wife and son reached the hotel at around 7 PM. That time it was raining heavily and they could not accommodate any parking lot in the hotel, so I kept my car outside the hotel for about 2 hours. In the the reception they offered me a suite though I booked a deluxe room which I felt... more

..takes a different meaning here in this hotel! Ramashree is an expensive hotel, and it behaves likewise. Treats guests differentially, hikes up room tariffs occussaionally, if it is raining outside, or you are at a disadvantageous poistion! Now what nature of host would do that!..end of the day stay away from the hotel if you can, I am sure I... more

The Ramanashree, Mysore is a mid range hotel, well located near the Mysore Palace and the fascinating Devaraja Market. The hotel staff right from the doorman, the receptionists, waiters and houseboys are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable if nondescript, available with and without AC, reasonably sized - could be larger vis a vis the price, very clean with attached... more

We stayed just for a day. Rooms were very nice. Service was good. Food at their restaurant was really very good. In fact we were staying at another hotel earlier and happened to take lunch at Ramanashree. We liked it so much that on our return trip we stayed at the hotel to have another very good meal. Billing time... more

At the outset, it looks like a dream hotel - practically next to the Mysore Palace, heart of the city, a hotel chain that you have heard of. Looks like nothing can go wrong. However, things are not that rosy. The hotel needs urgent renovation. It may have been a grand one 10 years back but now they need to... more

We stayed in Ramanashree for a night en route to Kabini jungles & resorts. The stay was comfortable and the room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good. The travel desk was very helpful in helping us plan the few hours we had in Mysore and also gave us a good deal for the car for the entire stay -... more

I am just back from my stay at this hotel. I was with this package of 2nights 3 days for rs.6000. 1> Rooms are not at all worth the money you pay. It is not even a 2 star hotel. Complimentary fruit basket contains fruits-2 banana,2 chiku/sapota which were still raw even during my departure, 1 apple 2> Restaurant(Nityotsava)...Grrrrr ..If... more
