the location is absolutely amazing and for the amount of money you pay its great to be right next to the gateway and the colaba causeway at the same time. The room was clean enough that we didn't check out early but not nice enough for us to recommend the hotel or to stay there again. If you are going to stay in Colaba, i would not recommend Hotel diplomat. Go walk around Colaba as you will be sure to find some nice, unique, cheap and better quality rooms.
